About Peaches & Salt
Peaches + Salt is a Brooklyn-based lifestyle blog, with a focus on food, travel and style. Founded by Madalyn Parr in September 2014, Peaches+Salt was originally an outlet to share creative ideas and explore writing techniques. The idea for the blog came about one night at a bar and the next day it went live. Inspired by two cats, Herbie and Ellie, the name for the blog came easily – Ellie is sweet as a peach and Herbie can be naughty and salty, as life can be sometimes. Madalyn is also a full time Digital Strategist at M Booth, a PR firm in Manhattan.
