She tells us that learning to make tender and juicy meatballs is a wonderful way to enjoy cooking and of course feast on a fabulous meal. Rose suggests first picking the meat or blend of meat and ingredients you prefer for your meatballs. She says you can use beef, chicken, pork or turkey for your meatballs and serve them as a main or side dish.

How Do You Prepare Good Meatballs?

Whether you are making Italian, Asian, Swedish or regular old meatballs, Rose shares some great ways to prepare meatballs, along with valuable tips and tricks. Additionally, she gives some important advice on how to make meatballs even better and tips on fixing some common problems chefs face making meatballs.

Ways To Make Meatballs

1. Mix ground meat, water, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, basil and egg together.
2. Form your meatballs to the size you prefer, and then place in a microwave-safe dish.
3. Cover meatballs with sauce and parmesan cheese.
4. Cover with plastic wrap, place in the microwave at 70 percent power for 12 minutes.
5. Take meatballs out the microwave, and add more cheese if you want.
6. Put meatballs back in the microwave and cook for an additional two minutes.
1. Sear meatballs in a pan coated with some oil on high heat for a few minutes.
2. If you plan on adding meatballs to a sauce later, complete the cooking process in the sauce.
3. If you want to fry the meatballs completely, cook using medium heat. Do not overcrowd the meatballs in the pan so that they will cook evenly.
3. Cook for five minutes on one side, and then roll meatballs over carefully to cook the other side. Continue turning meatballs until they are thoroughly cooked.
4. You can also deep-fry your meatballs at a medium or high temperature. Roll them in breadcrumbs or flour before frying them.

2. Lightly grease your baking sheet and place meatballs on sheet, making sure to space them about an inch apart to avoid overcrowding and overcooking.
3. Cook 15 to 25 minutes depending on the meatballs’ size and type of meat used.

2. Cook meatballs in steamer for about 40 minutes or until they’re fully cooked.
